A warm and delightful little cafe. Coffee tastes great and there is a large variety of cakes that change throughout the seasons. Cheesecake is their specialty and I would definitely taking its mocha version. Staff is helpful and very kind. I usually go there twice a month !

The cheesecake was really delicious! Unfortunately, they do not offer milk alternatives, however the normal coffee was also very good.

Best coffee I had over the course of two weeks spent in Japan. The beans are not over-roasted, the atmosphere is cozy and quaint, service is very friendly (as is pretty much everywhere else we visited). The only regret is that I wish I made time on our last day in Sumida to come back for one more cup. Enjoy!

Such a cute shop that exists in a renovated home. I came 5 mins after it opened on a Friday and almost every table was already full. The chocolate chip scone was decent. The Ethiopia pour over was delicious. The staff was really kind and helpful. Since it’s such a small and popular coffee shop, there is a 60 minute seating limit in place.

A nice cosy cafe which serves up great coffee! I had the cheesecake as well, and the lady who makes the coffee was very patient in answering my questions and recommending a coffee for my palate. If you ask for milk, they'll give you a very small pitcher, which though not my usual allowed the taste of the coffee to shine through..enjoyed the coffee so much, I bought a bag of the beans to go! Highly recommended!

This place is quite a gem to discover. I was lucky to pass by Sumida Coffee on a casual cycling trip. It’s very small but cozy. I had a latte and it was really warm and nice, the perfect drink to have after cycling in mid-November.

Nice cafe in the neighbourhood. The staff was helpful, the food was delicious and the environment was comfortable. I ordered hot chocolate and blueberry cheese cake this time. (The cake was amazing!) Relaxing afternoon spent here.
